Day 2: Paris

We arrived safely in Paris, France with no problems!  After boarding a motor coach to take us into the city we sat in traffic due to a rail strike which created delays in public transportation.  Not to worry, the extra time allowed us to shake off some jet lag with a quick nap.

First visit of our trip was The Cathedral of Notre Dame which is celebrating its 850th anniversary this year.

We then walked to dinner at a cafe.  We sat outside enjoying our meal and wine (adults did) like a Parisian!

We took the metro to get back to our hotel which included a mile walk from the metro station.  I think Franc our tour giude was conditioning our group to walk at a swift pace and stay as a group,
